In late September 2024 Hurricane Helene,
in addition to wrecking multiple communities throughout the Southeast,
completely destroyed 18 trestles and damaged 13 more on Virginia's famous and beloved Creeper Trail.
Two informational websites are being prepared by organizations involved in the trail's rebuilding.
In the event these two sites are not developed we will provide information here beginning in March 2025.
